Brianna & Val get a bird's eye view from the London Eye Ferris wheel. Very big "gap" without the train in the station! Brianna can barely keep her eyes open on London's "tube" as we make our way to Heathrow.

The wonderful home of the Heine's where we enjoyed a fabulous week!  Marienburg Castle in Wuerzburg is an incredible fortress. We saw the "for sale" sign and realized that although the "Residence" in Wuerzburg is nice, it's too much to clean.
The view from Marienburg Castle was breathtaking.  The town wall runs about 2.5 kilometers around Rothenburg.  Great walk! We climbed to the top of Rothenburg's center's spire and got some wonderful pictures of rooftops and hills.
Bamburg is the "Venice of Germany" with its waterways and quaint buildings, many of which are painted on the outside. Brianna is picking daisies which were in full bloom. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner out with the Heine's in Germany.  Bring on the spargel (asparagus) soup.
Coburg's castle was high in the clouds and the walk proved to be a pleasant challenge UP!  We made it to the gate at Coburg just in time for the sun to come out. Saying "auf wiedersehn" to the Heine's was very difficult.  We look forward to our next trip.
What do you do in England?  Have a pint in the pub of course. Sarah and Lucas were happy to greet us. Ben and Frank's grandsons James and Andrew enjoy a day with the trains.
Cambridge was full of students taking their final exams.  Our test was to get through the streets without being run over by "radio man." At one of our cottage homes, we found a new friend..."scruffy cat."  Punting makes for an exciting time in Cambridge.  We managed to escape without getting wet.
Lucas is definitely a "bouncing baby boy." Brianna's new hat. No Holy Grail here, but Lavenham was still a beautiful church.
Acton church is home to some spectacular brass rubbings.  Wallace & Gromet's home? Corfe Castle.  Not much to the place but the view is wonderful and all rooms have air conditioning.
Swanage is a sleepy little seaside village. Salisbury Cathedral is home to one of four copies of the Magna Carta. We took in many sights during our time in London.  Here we are on the banks of the River Thames.
Beheading's, jewels, and daisies.  All part of the magic at the Tower of London. Brianna wants a hat like this.  Brighton Beach was a perfect place to enjoy Brianna's 14th birthday!
The more grease, the better it tastes!  Fish & Chips

at the pier were great!

Another day, another rescue. Although we enjoyed our trip, we were happy

to be on the plane home.
